Acoustic Surveys

Acoustic Surveys

Acoustic surveying is a series of precise acoustic measurements performed in large halls with complex architecture and significant volume — such as concert halls, opera houses, theaters, churches, and other venues with many audience seats. The goal is to evaluate the real acoustic behavior of the space and understand how it affects the listener.

To achieve maximum accuracy, we use at least three types of measurement signals — Sweep, Periodic Noise, and MLS, conducting measurements from multiple source and microphone positions. This approach allows us to build a detailed acoustic profile of the entire venue.

Audio Design is equipped with a professional omnidirectional sound source — a Dodecahedron, which generates an even sound field in all directions. With this technology, we can reliably capture the acoustic characteristics of large halls and deliver a comprehensive engineering report containing all required parameters and analyses.
